OCCII is an autonomous non-profit space that offers a platform for alternative, underground, non-commercial activities, based on the principles of equality, freedom and anti-conformity. OCCII exists thanks to the hard, continous work of the squatter community and all its sympathizers

This is how OCCII describes itself, which is reflected in it's 2009 yearbook-like calendary book. The book, designed by Matthias Kreutzer and Jens Schildt (Our Polite Society), features a wild mixture of papers, inks and type that are combined thoughtfully for each month. The twelve typefaces, papers and inks are, in order of their appearance, Hobo (Reviva Offset, PMS 267), Dom (Novatech Gloss, PMS 355), Barnum (Dito, PMS 032), Brody (Hello Mat, PMS 641), Storybook (Montana, PMS 808), Chianti (Bioset, PMS 806), Marq (Munken Lynx, 100K), Helvetica (Royal Print Gloss, PMS 871), American Typewriter (Alga Carta Ivoor, PMS 7475), Belwe (Caxton, PMS 811), hand-drawn Lettering (Amber Graphic, 100K) and last, but not least furious Comic Sans (Furioso, PMS 021). It collects the monthly newsletters that were released thoughout 2009.
