College Humor has released footage that reveals what actually does happen when the mascot Luxo jumps on the "I" in the famous Pixar intro. They somehow managed to edit the original take into something more palpable – the version we see at the beginning of every Pixar movie, and which we all love, proves that about anything can be covered up with the use of CGI. The truth however is very, very gory. Beware of adorable, homicidal lamps…

And the typeface used in the Pixar logo? Why, it's Carol Twombly's classic Charlemagne Bold of course.
